This painting honors the 2017 International Cheetah Day on December 4th. The cheetah is the oldest and most unique of all the big cats of Africa. Today there are estimated to be less than 8000 cheetahs left in the wild. They are racing against extinction. This mother will fiercely protect her cubs but faces difficult odds. Her hope is for their survival—ours is for the future of all of her kind. #intlcheetahday.
